We are in full Spring mode over here. I cut these flowers from my yard over the weekend. Love them! No menu planner this week...nothing too spectacular on the list. We are eating up a lot of frozen casseroles from previous weeks. I keep a bunch of foil containers on hand and when a casserole makes a ton, I freeze a portion. Also, it is teacher appreciation week at C and C's school and I am making my favorite, Angela's Awesome Enchiladas, for each teacher. Click here for the recipe.

I am easing back into project mode. We did some work on Clyde's room over the weekend. And I completed a few other projects I will try to post this week. We are supossed to have a gorgeous spring week here in RVA so I planned a couple items for the grill! Here is this week's menu planner.... Michael broke out the deep fryer yesterday and he fried his first turkey! It was delicious and we didn't have to use the first extinguisher! Success! My mom, Michael parents and my sister and her family helped us devour it. My sister brought mashed potatoes made with Swiss cheese and I made Savory Green Beans  to go with our Fried Turkey . Oh and I can't forget these Pretzel Bites  with Cheese Sauce that I made as an appetizer. They were the best! I made some Cinnamon sugar ones as well and am going to make the vanilla glaze today as we sit inside and wait for the maybe snow! I plan to sneak some banana into that glaze...my Clyde is getting really, really picky! It is a cold and rainy weekend in Richmond. We did some grocery shopping today and I am all set for the week. Saturday - Slow Cooker German Short Ribs, Mashed Red Potatoes, Spinach Sunday - Chicken Parmesan Burgers , French Fries Monday - Minestrone Soup (from my freezer), Grilled Cheese Tuesday - Homemade Pizza Wednesday - Pasta Carbonara, Salad, Bread Thursday - Tilapia Piccata , Wild Rice, Green Beans Friday - Stove Top Stuffed Pork Chops, Baked Apples I have a bunch of projects that I want to complete but I am not finding the time. Hopefully soon!

Y'all! As my mom would say I have been busier than a one armed paper-hanger. Work is picking up and today I worked out  my first contract of the year as a buyer's agent! Woohoo! I found two cardigans and two shirts for Camille...all $6 each. And two pairs of flip flops, a sweater and some spring/summer sandals. I really need to stay away but there is great stuff to be found there. I also created a website that focuses solely on real estate....check that out here . I will keep this blog because I really enjoy sharing my projects, menus and bargains.

Happy 2012! We are almost back in a groove over here. Michael has been home with us since Christmas Eve Eve and he will return to work tomorrow and the kids will go back to school. I am not going lie.... this break may have been one day too long. However, I did start the New Year off with a bang. Yesterday, I worked out an offer on my listing in Chester. Woohoo! Cheers to many more real estate transactions in 2012. We also managed to get out and about some over the break. My awesome mom had Camille & Clyde for a sleepover on New Year's Eve so we went to dinner at my friend Katy's parents house. It was tons of fun and she had the cutest table display. We had a great weekend. Yesterday, we spent the day in Williamsburg at Christmastown with Michael's parents, sister, husband and kids. We had lunch with Santa, watched a Sesame Street Christmas, drank hot toddies in Ireland and saw lights all over. It was tons of fun minus one meltdown by Clyde at the very end. My camera battery died early in the day. Boo for poor planning! But here are some shots I managed to get.... All bundled up and ready to go! My mom, niece Vail, Camille, Clyde and I went to the Christmas Parade this weekend. It was a first for Camille and Clyde and I hadn't been since  I was a child. It was a gorgeous day for a parade. Another busy weekend that included a trip to Charlottesville to see the Wahoos play the Hokies. Sad day for the Wahoos but nice to get away with Michael without C & C. Phew! I am behind this week. Had a great open house yesterday in North Oaks. Lots of potential buyers out and about. I just got to the grocery store this morning and here is what is cooking this week. Monday - Dinner out for my mom's birthday Tuesday - Tacos with Ground Chicken Wednesday - Roasted Chicken and White Bean Pizza Thursday - Turkey Day! I am making Squash Casserole , Italian Sausage Stuffing & Chocolate-Filled Sweet Potato Cupcakes for my two Thanksgiving feasts. Oh and I also learned that it a turkey wattle not a gizzard. We had a great weekend! Friday, we went to dinner at our friend's  Campbell & Jessica's house . Click here to see a tour of their home. They have since re-done the kitchen cabinets and it looks great! And get this....they re-used the granite. It came off in one piece and they put it back on top of the new cabinets! Awesome savings! Saturday, we had my niece, Alice's first birthday party. My sister, Anne Hunter, did a fabulous job with the decorations. I will do a post this week on the party. It was really, really cute!
