Monday - Store Bought Ravioli and Vodka Sauce

Tuesday - Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad (We never actually had this a couple weeks ago)

Wednesday - BBQ Chicken Pizza on Homemade Crust

In other news, some exciting things going on in the real estate world.

My listing on W Grace near Willow Lawn is SOLD.

My new listing on University went under contract in 1 week!

And my clients from W Grace closed on this awesome house in Roxshire in Midlothian.

I have really been missing my thrifting and have all these projects to complete but need to find the time! Hoping to get my garden and flowers planted this week. Stay tuned! Happy Monday everyone!

MIA & Some Random Updates

Life has been busy. Sorry no menu plan this week....I actually served this on Sunday night. Yikes!

I have this great new listing in the Tuckahoe School District. Click here for more details.

In other news, I purchased these yesterday from Piperlime.
And these! They had 20% off all sandals.

This week's highlights

I have had one of those weeks where the laundry I started on Sunday and usually finish on Monday still had loads on the floor to be washed today, Friday! The weather has been so nice we have been outside enjoying it. And this is my busy season with work and I have a really great listing coming up next week. Stay tuned for that one!

Here are some highlights from our week....

We started thinking about our garden. I found these pots at the Dollar Tree and we planted seeds in them. They are the cardboard like pots that you can pull off the bottom and plant directly in the ground. Not sure it will work...I don't have much luck with seeds but I always try to plant them directly in the ground which  I don't think is the correct way.

But I thought it would be fun for Camille & Clyde to watch grow.

I registered Camille for Kindergarten yesterday. So excited but I can't believe she is old enough to go...already getting a little weepy thinking about her first day!

Last summer, Camille took an art class at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and they selected her artwork to be on display this summer. I am so proud of her.

Happy Weekend! I think it is going to be gorgeous here in RVA! We have lots of fun things on tap...hope you do too!

Even More Drugstore Favorites

I have done a couple posts on favorite drugstore beauty items. You can read more here and here. Today, I have even more to share with you from the poll I emailed out to my friends a few weeks ago.

Lindley has a very "green" approach to skincare. One of her favorites is Physicians Formula Organic wear 100% Natural Lash Boosting Mascara.

Mascara

Lindley also uses Aura Glow instead of body lotion and loves it. I recently switched to Aura Glow on her recommendation and I really like it. It is an oil but soaks in immediately.

Aura Glow
Augusta recommends the POND'S Clean Sweep Original Clean Wet Cleansing Towelettes. She adds that they are also great for removing the festival and fair face paint from your kid's faces.

Brooke recommends Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. She writes..."My favorite item...and I have a few...is one that I found by accident. One day a while back, I had to go to dinner that evening and I was out of foundation with no time to run to Sephora, so I went to CVS and picked up the Maybelline "Fit Me" foundation just so I would have something to hold me over until I could go to the mall.

To my surprise, the Fit Me foundation was awesome! It gave me plenty of coverage, stays on throughout the day, and it only cost around $6.00. Compared to my Make-Up Forever brand which cost 45.00, this was a great buy which I am still using a year and half later.

Considering that I swore by my old foundation and had been using it religiously for the last 3 years, this was a pretty impressive product. Plus, it has made life so much easier because I can just pick it up on one of my regular trips to Target instead of having to head to Tyson's or Pentagon City just to get foundation. "  She gave such a good review, I decided to include it directly from her email. :)

Anne Wesley recommends NYC's Sun'n'Bronze Bronzing Powder

And last but not least, Anne Wesley also recommends the e.l.f Powder Brush. So cheap for $3! I also have some of these e.l.f brushes and they hold up and work well.

Thanks to everyone who sent me their favorites. If you have a favorite you would like to share, please leave a comment here.
