I picked up a new desk / dressing table for Camille at
Class and Trash last December. Last weekend, I got around to painting it.

I free hand painted the design on the drawers so it is far from perfect. |

I used two different sized biscuit cutters to create the polka dots |

Here is the run down on the project.....
First, I did one coat of primer with
Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3.
Next, I used three cans of
RustOleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2X in Gloss Candy Pink. After it dried overnight, I free hand painted the design on the drawers and then used two different sized biscuit cutters for the polka dots. The white paint I had on hand from Michaels.
Camille was so excited about the finished product. She immediately put all her make up on top. This picture is her styling.
And do you spy the mirror from the
Goochland Goodwill. I am still trying to figure out the treatment for that...considering chevron or glitter or perhaps glitter chevron? I almost didn't purchase it but am glad I did...it is the perfect fit.
