Thanksgiving in Pictures

   
With the recent election, Camille has turned to polling. This one is "which do you like better...Halloween or Christmas." As you can see Christmas wins by a landslide and Clyde has two loveys so they both got a vote!

Found at Diversity Thrift for 10 cents a piece! I bought 19 of them. 
Love the detail and vintage handmade look! 
Also found this at Diversity Thrift....but could only find one. I really wanted to do some more scouring but the fam was yelling to leave! I love it and it has no markings or anything to search for another online. It reminds me of the ones found here on Little Green Notebook and I would love to have two for either side of some artwork in my dining room.

Battery operated socks. My friend Lindley came prepared! I may have to invest for the next Blacksburg trip. 
Our tailgating spot was in the backyard of this house where Michael lived his last year of college. I remember many a trip to this house to his faux wood paneled room and tiny bathroom shared by 3 college guys! No good.

A few weeks ago, Clyde turned 4 and we celebrated at a local sports park, Scor . He wanted a superhero theme to go with the soccer party so I did my best to pull that off! First off, I purchased this clip art from Etsy. I was going to try to design the invitation myself but am lacking talent in that department so ended up getting local Elizabeth from Sunshine Ink Studio to create for me. Much cuter then what I pulled together.  For the cake, I ordered plain cupcakes with green polka dots from Kroger. The polka dots were far from what I had in mind but the kids didn't care! I ordered cupcake toppers using the same clip art from The Sister Studio . Camille & Clyde both got new shirts for the occasion. Clyde's batman shirt came from TwoTwoCute Designs on Etsy. And Camille's is from CutiesTieDyeBoutique . They worked with me to do a chevron background to match the invitation. For the goodie bags, I purchased the red bags from the Dollar Tree . Snow day....

Camille with my niece, Vail We woke up yesterday to an unexpected snow day! Woohoo! There is snow on the ground but I am thinking spring ! I tried on this cute dress at Kohl's earlier this week. It was more expensive in store than online! I left it in the store but am still thinking about it especially with the $32 price tag. Could be nice for Easter if it is chilly. Deal found! Crocs!

Even though it is so cold we can't go outside and play for more than 5 minutes at a time and we may or may not be going stir crazy!  I am starting to think about spring. I found this post about 70% off at Crocs.com from athriftymom.com . After browsing, I decided to get these cute Crocs for Camille. They were on sale for $12.49. I searched here for coupon codes and ended up getting them for $9.99 after using a free shipping and 20% off coupon. What a steal!
