Fish Tacos

We are having a great time at the beach this week. Today, we were the typical vacationers and took our kids to Chuck E Cheese. They had fun...we ate pizza and played games. Camille won a plastic ring, two lollipops and some stickers. She was thrilled.

This afternoon in between thunderstorms, I took the kids to TJMaxx and found some Levis for $9.99 and two Ralph Lauren polo for $12.99 each...all for Clyde. I am dying to go back because I didn't have time to check out anything for myself.

Tonight, Michael and I made fish tacos....delicious. I highly recommend. Check out the recipe here. We added Pico De Gallo as a topping.

A few weeks ago, Clyde turned 4 and we celebrated at a local sports park, Scor . He wanted a superhero theme to go with the soccer party so I did my best to pull that off! First off, I purchased this clip art from Etsy. I was going to try to design the invitation myself but am lacking talent in that department so ended up getting local Elizabeth from Sunshine Ink Studio to create for me. Much cuter then what I pulled together.  For the cake, I ordered plain cupcakes with green polka dots from Kroger. The polka dots were far from what I had in mind but the kids didn't care! Snow day....

Camille with my niece, Vail We woke up yesterday to an unexpected snow day! Woohoo! There is snow on the ground but I am thinking spring ! I tried on this cute dress at Kohl's earlier this week. It was more expensive in store than online! I left it in the store but am still thinking about it especially with the $32 price tag. Could be nice for Easter if it is chilly. Deal found! Crocs!

Even though it is so cold we can't go outside and play for more than 5 minutes at a time and we may or may not be going stir crazy!  I am starting to think about spring. I found this post about 70% off at Crocs.com from athriftymom.com . After browsing, I decided to get these cute Crocs for Camille. They were on sale for $12.49. I searched here for coupon codes and ended up getting them for $9.99 after using a free shipping and 20% off coupon. What a steal!
