Weekend Recap & Menu Planner

It was nice to be in town this weekend getting organized. Yesterday early morning we hit the South of the James Farmer's Market . We had breakfast at Crossroads although if we go back we will most likely be waiting in line for the donuts from Mrs Yoder's Kitchen. They must be yummy. We picked up some tomatoes, okra, ravioli from Cavanna Pasta, Inc and the Bellevue Baguette from Norwood Cottage Bakery. For dinner last night, we had the pasta and bread. Michael picked up Mezzetta Creamy Vodka Style Marinara from Kroger to top over the ravioli. It was delicious for a bottled sauce. Definitely recommend. Here goes with this week's menu planner... Sunday - Mexican Pizza* Monday - Flank Steak, Rissotto, Possibly Fried Okra (Michael's favorite that I am trying to work in our menu) Tuesday -  Chicken, Potatoes & Green Beans (found this easy recipe on Pinterest and thought we would give it a try...I bought fresh green beans) Wednesday - Fiesta Turkey Soup with Green Chili B...

A Rainbow of Colors....

Last spring, I purchase a pair of royal blue jeans from Old Navy for $17! I have loved them! While surfing Old Navy's site last night I noticed they have the same jeans in many, many colors available for pre-order! I am going to get a pair or two but just can't decide on the color. Click here to view all the colors.

and busy, busy these past few months. The housing market is booming and blogging has taken a back seat.  I will be back tomorrow with a menu planner but in the meantime enjoy a few shots from our trip to the Outer Banks, NC.  Highlights of the trip included driving on the beach in Corolla and a 12 person bike brigade to Duck for a beer and a toy store run. Michael and I also celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary last week. We went out for dinner at The Blue Point . The food was delicious and we had an wonderful table overlooking the sound where we watched the sunset. Perfect!
