Yesterday was my sweet angel's 3rd birthday... and I felt like a horrible mom because we already had plans to take the kids to Kings Island before they start back to school. So that morning we made special time for him :) Then he went and played with my mom and her dog all day lol I remember the first day we went and got him...he was so cute and sweet :) Look what I found... Aww look at him coming home for the first time ;) This was right after we picked him up and got him in the car! He was a little greasy and hadn't had his first bath yet! Brings back the memories lol Ok so back to his bday...after he slept in... We got up, decorated the dining room...  Then took him to his favorite store, the Barkery! He rode in his favorite spot (aka Jakes carseat ha) Then looked out the window and tried to show off his Birthday shirt :) We made it and he was so excited when we pulled up! In March, I won this painting of pears from shopgoodwill.com . I paid right under $36 for it. I found this lamp for $4 at Diversity Thrift and already had the shade in my attic! I knew there was a reason I save all this stuff. The mercury glass vases are from HomeGoods and Marshalls. I am considering doing a gallery wall around these pears. I have been  slowing collecting artwork for it.

First and most importantly... today is my best friend since the 5th grade, Chrissy's, 27th Birthday! Happy Birthday CC I love you! For her birthday we went to Riverbend last weekend to see Rascall Flatts, Sara Evans, Easton Corbin & Justin Moore... we were so pumped... sadly to say it wasn't the best concert :( We got stuck in traffic and missed Easton & Justin :( Bummer! And by the time we got there, it was not only 107 degree heat index at 8pm at night with absolutely ZERO breeze, but it was so crowded I wanted to die ha On the lawn at Riverbend, you are sure to see some interesting things.. I wish I would have gotten more pics but my phone died... I will have to get some from someone else and post but we encountered people throwing up allllll over the lawn right next to us (vomit), two trashbag girls got in a fist fight and one left with her entire face covered in blood (not a lie, Chrissy being a nurse wanted to help, I wouldn't let her lol).
