I just ran across the blog, Catalog Living, through a post on Young House Love.

I think it's hilarious! The writer takes rooms out of catalogs and creates conversations that might go on in that setting. Here is a sample...visit the blog for more.


I’ve only set out personalized towels for Margaret and Patrick, but I see three people arriving on horseback…if they’re bringing a friend I wish they had told me ahead of time. The embroider is fast but not that fast.

Superhero Soccer Party

A few weeks ago, Clyde turned 4 and we celebrated at a local sports park, Scor . He wanted a superhero theme to go with the soccer party so I did my best to pull that off! First off, I purchased this clip art from Etsy. I was going to try to design the invitation myself but am lacking talent in that department so ended up getting local Elizabeth from Sunshine Ink Studio to create for me. Much cuter then what I pulled together.  For the cake, I ordered plain cupcakes with green polka dots from Kroger. The polka dots were far from what I had in mind but the kids didn't care! I ordered cupcake toppers using the same clip art from The Sister Studio . Camille & Clyde both got new shirts for the occasion. Clyde's batman shirt came from TwoTwoCute Designs on Etsy. Weekend Recap & Menu Planner

We have had a great weekend. Friday night, we had a fun dinner out to surprise my friend, Jessica, for her birthday! We went to The Daily Kitchen & Bar which is very popular and has the coolest decor! Saturday morning, we hit the soccer fields bright and early. This is our third week and Clyde still won't play. Suggestions welcome on how to overcome this! Help! After soccer we hit our neighborhood playground. My sister and brother in law went out of town for their anniversary, so we watched my niece and nephew for the afternoon. It was rainy so we saw Despicable Me 2! Again! Snow day....

Camille with my niece, Vail We woke up yesterday to an unexpected snow day! Woohoo! There is snow on the ground but I am thinking spring ! I tried on this cute dress at Kohl's earlier this week. It was more expensive in store than online! I left it in the store but am still thinking about it especially with the $32 price tag. Could be nice for Easter if it is chilly.
