Found at the Goochland Goodwill

On Monday, my mom and I were out in search of a small mirror for Camille's room. We picked Camille up from school and set off for Thrifty Sisters and Hope Thrift. Turns out both are closed on Mondays! How disappointing!

And then my mom, the queen of thrifting (she once got a Herend figurine at a retirement home yard sale for $1), remembered they opened a new Goodwill in Goochland. So we headed that way.

It was so nice and organized. Lots of good finds there....

First up...the mirror  we were originally on a hunt for. I am going to paint it some color/pattern to be determined. Price $3.25

7 gold charges for 85 cents each. I use these a lot instead of place mats. I previously only had 4 and often borrowed from my mom. Now I have 11...odd number but I usually only need a max of 10. Ignore Dr. Doll and Baby Alive they were having a tea party at my dining room table. 

Cute Valentine glasses 65 cents each. 

Camille loves to eat off of princess plates. 65 cents!

A few weeks ago, Clyde turned 4 and we celebrated at a local sports park, Scor . He wanted a superhero theme to go with the soccer party so I did my best to pull that off! First off, I purchased this clip art from Etsy. I was going to try to design the invitation myself but am lacking talent in that department so ended up getting local Elizabeth from Sunshine Ink Studio to create for me. Much cuter then what I pulled together.  For the cake, I ordered plain cupcakes with green polka dots from Kroger. The polka dots were far from what I had in mind but the kids didn't care! Snow day....

Camille with my niece, Vail We woke up yesterday to an unexpected snow day! Woohoo! There is snow on the ground but I am thinking spring ! I tried on this cute dress at Kohl's earlier this week. It was more expensive in store than online! I left it in the store but am still thinking about it especially with the $32 price tag. Could be nice for Easter if it is chilly. Deal found! Crocs!

Even though it is so cold we can't go outside and play for more than 5 minutes at a time and we may or may not be going stir crazy!  I am starting to think about spring. I found this post about 70% off at Crocs.com from athriftymom.com . After browsing, I decided to get these cute Crocs for Camille. They were on sale for $12.49. I searched here for coupon codes and ended up getting them for $9.99 after using a free shipping and 20% off coupon. What a steal!
